America is mourning. The loss of a figure such as Charlie Kirk has shocked the nation for just over 24 hours now. The wound is fresh. Mr. Kirk was gunned down because his truth cut deeper than cowardice could endure. The bullet not only struck him, but the very idea that any one of us may speak freely in this land. Freedom of speech lies in the grave beside him, and the American people let it happen.
Many, like myself, fled to places like Utah. Believing liberty is in the brooks & streams, carved into the granite of the valley. This is not about saints or sinners, but a generation gutted by betrayal. Our leaders and people who should be strong for those around them distract themselves with lust, with cheap thrills, and money that will not flow with them into the next life. The sight of Kirk's blood on American soil and seen by millions around the globe will be the exact turning point that he named his legacy after.
Charlie leaves behind a beautiful nuclear family. A wife, and 2 young kids, and a testimony stronger than any act of war.
Proverbs 18:21 declares "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits." Kirk spoke life, and they killed him for it.
His debates were well informed and sharp, some would say relentless. That does not change the fact that he built the rare spaces where steel clashed against steel and those who went into the fire looking for reformation got exactly what they were there for. He dared men and women alike to prove him wrong, and in an age when campuses suffocate conversations, he insisted that confrontation refines truth.
Charlie said he wishes to be remembered for his courage in faith. He will be. For twelve years, he brought the young toward Christ. Psalm 112:6 is fulfilled: "Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance."
This moment is not about a single man. It is about a country at war with itself. His death on a campus in Utah is a wake-up call. The radicals on the left silence with guns, the radicals of the right pervert, and the leaders of both sides squander what remains of the Republic. Taxes feed foreign thrones and domestic leeches while the true people of America rot. America turned its back on God. Now it reaps judgment. Christ taught, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matt. 5:44). Yet the same Christ overturned tables when His Father’s house was defiled (John 2:15). “To everything there is a season…a time for war and a time for peace” (Eccl. 3:1–8). The fight draws near.
The founding fathers knew this rhythm of war. They were flawed men, not icons, but they bore anger and faith together. Farmers at Lexington took muskets in 1775, knowing death would meet them. In 1776 fifty-six men signed their lives away on the Declaration of Independence. Washington's frozen crossing at Trenton broke the enemy by holy resolve. Madison's First Amendment in 1791 was meant to protect us from Tyranny. That shield now fractures, and Kirk's execution proves it.
This is not a call for blood. Hate divides and devours. Satan uses hatred to fuel the desires of hell. This is a call for resistance forged in Christ. Bold, righteous, without any malice towards your neighbors. War is already here. Preparation is not optional, it is required. Kirk’s death is not an end. It is a warning. America is bleeding. Tyranny walks closer by the day. Our ancestors faced it. They fought holy, not hateful. So must we.
